Pivotal Spaces for Impactful Organizations
When organizations are regularly provided space to focus on their work and gather their people, their growth is exponential.
We aim to increase the number of women, LGBTQ+ & BIPOC folks thriving in the Greater Houston area.

barriers to access and equity
“Nearly 2 out of 5 Houston-area small businesses are owned by Black, Indigenous, or other people of color (BIPOC).
[Additionally], barriers such as lack of credit access, social capital, and generational wealth have a disproportionate effect on aspiring female and BIPOC entrepreneurs, preventing their full contributions to the small business economy.
Which means community organizations and non-profits run by and benefiting women and people of color are starting with the odds already stacked against them.”
Despite their essential work, non-profits are routinely excluded from funding that addresses basic operational needs like rent
Funding that non-profits and community organizations receive from grants or federal funding are regularly earmarked for the specific purposes of hiring, programming, or equipment. Organizations are rarely provided funding for overhead costs, existing payroll or rent.
This causes organizations to spend their irreplaceable time and energy focused on partnerships to secure locations for team and board meetings, programming, and fundraising.
Having their focus diverted away from their impact work is time consuming and draining on their already limited resources.
ROoted in Houston
The Sesh Foundation was born from the charitable work of Sesh Coworking through sponsorships of office, meeting and event space since 2020. Sesh was established in 2017, opening their first 2000 SF brick and mortar February 2020 in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston. Sesh now resides in the Midtown neighborhood of Houston at their ~21,000 SF flagship location.
In 2023 Sesh donated ~$100,000 of space across 45 organizations located in Houston, TX.
Your support in providing hard working, good Houstonians a regular place that they can stay focused, drives their impact further into our communities, meaning more women, communities of color and LGBTQ+ folks thrive and provide that same opportunity to someone else.
“Organizations that regularly have a workspace to use are 60% more likely to grow their team in their first year”
— Maggie Segrich, Founder Sesh Coworking
